Good hotel. Bewarw: No luggage storage service
Location
My flight is in the evening. The check out time is 10:00 am. I expect the hotel to have luggage storage service from 10:00 to 14:00. But there is no service. The staff advices my wife, my daughter, and me to haul our 5 suitcases 700 meters to the train station and use the lockers there. Problem is I already booked a taxi van to pick us up at the hotel the day before my check out. In summary, the hotel should have made it clearer that luggage storage before check in and after check out is not available. If I had known, I’d change my plan and take the train to the airport.

Clean and tidy with nice view and good price
It is located by the river and has good view of the Tokyo Skytree. 7-11 and some restaurants and cafe are around.
It requires 10 to 15 walk from the nearest station so it was tough to walk with bulky luggage in summer or raining days.

Amazing place to stay in Asakusa. Clean, nice area on the River
The view was amazing. Everything was clean and comfortable. Room was as pictured/described.

What would you highlight about stayme THE HOTEL Asakusa Riverside
Modern room with beautiful views in quieter part of town.
Lovely, clean, modern room. Comfortable for our family of 4 with teens. Beautiful part of Tokyo with view of Sumida park & Skytree. Washer/dryer in room meant we could travel light with more room for shopping. Good size fridge/freezer for our needs. Staff were quick to respond when messaging via the booking dot com app.
No clothes iron or steamer provided. No tea towels in kitchen. Clothes dryer took multiple cycles to get a small load dry. Had some issues with the digital door lock intermittently not working, were locked in the room until we removed the batteries and were able to exit. No staff on site makes addressing issues like this a little difficult, though they are responsive via the app.
